Indonesian naval ship KRI Spica visits Kochi

Indonesian naval Ship KRI Spica is visiting Kochi from 2 December to 6 December. Lt Cdr Anom Puji Hascaryo is the Commanding Officer of the visiting foreign ship.

During the visit, various interactions with Southern naval command have been planned. On 2 December 15, the Commanding Officer, KRI Spica accompanied by Col (N) Ardiansyah Muqsit, resident DA at New Delhi had called on the Rear Admiral RB Pandit Chief of Staff, Southern Naval Command.

Other interaction includes exchange of visits by specialist officers and men from both the navies with Indian Navy personnel visiting the Indonesian Naval ships and sports interaction.

KRI Spica is a follow-on multipurpose survey and research vessel built in France for Indonesian Navy. She is the second vessel, after KRI Rigel which had also visited Kochi in Apr this year. KRI Spica will depart Kochi on 6th December and is enroute passage to Sabang (Indonesia).
