An Indonesian shipbuilder has laid down two more tank landing ships for the country’s navy. [Terafulk] ☆
Indonesian shipbuilder PT Bandar Abadi has laid down two more Teluk Bintuni-class tank landing ships (LSTs) on order for the Indonesian Navy (Tentara Nasional Indonesia – Angkatan Laut, or TNI-AL).
The keels for both vessels were laid down on 19 December at the company’s facilities in Batam. The event was confirmed by Terafulk Ship Design, which is collaborating with PT Bandar Abadi on the project, in a statement on the following day.
