SGI successfully handled the shipment of two H225M helicopters from Marseille, France to Bandung, Indonesia.
These helicopters are the result of a strategic collaboration between PT Dirgantara Indonesia and Airbus Helicopters. Before departure, each unit underwent a thorough inspection by PTDI and SGI teams to ensure full compliance with technical and safety standards. Once cleared, the helicopters were carefully transported by truck to Port Fos-sur-Mer in France.
Supported by the Indonesian Defense Attaché in France, Air Marshal Anang Surdwiyono, the final pre-shipment process was completed smoothly on the day of departure. From there, the helicopters began an almost two-month journey aboard a specific vessel, crossing continents before arriving safely at Tanjung Priok Port, Jakarta. Immediately upon arrival, they were delivered to PTDI’s facility in Bandung.
On September 15, an official flight test and review were conducted at Monas, Central Jakarta, attended by PTDI President Director Gita Amperiawan, Indonesia’s Minister of Defense Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin, and Head of the Defense Logistics Agency, Air Marshal Yusuf Jauhari.
As emphasized by the Minister of Defense, the H225M plays a strategic role as a command and control platform—supporting military operations as well as humanitarian missions. Its arrival marks an important milestone in strengthening Air Force operational readiness, modernizing defense capabilities, and advancing national industry independence through PTDI.
Behind this successful delivery, SGI played a crucial role as the forwarding partner—ensuring precise coordination, uncompromised safety, and seamless execution across borders. Because in defense logistics, every detail matters, and every mission must succeed.
