"We are looking at an average 15 per cent growth in our revenues in 2014-15 and 2015-16. We are trying to penetrate the ASEAN countries, particularly Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia. We just signed a distributorship agreement with Indonesia for defence vehicles," Noronha told PTI.
Tata Motors also showcased two new combat vehicles-- LAMV and KESTREL-- at the Defence Expo 2014 which began today at Pragati Maidan here.
The LAMV (Light Armoured High Mobility Vehicle) is a recon vehicle moving ahead of the armored columns. The LAMV is developed indigenously with technical inputs from Supacat of the UK, for vital reconnaissance mobility, protection and firepower.
The KESTREL is a Wheeled Armored Amphibious Platform, designed and developed indigenously with DRDO, for optimised survivability, all-terrain performance and increased 'lethality', the company said.
Besides, Tata Motors showcased two other vehicles, a Medium Recovery Vehicle (MRV) and the Tata Armoured Personnel Carrier ( APC) Left Hand Drive.
Tata Motors has been associated with the country's off-road defence and security forces since 1958.
