Indonesian Navy Submits Reorganisation Plans, Proposals for Third Fleet to President Widodo

Indonesia has finalised details for the creation of a third fleet, and submitted these proposals to the country’s president. The TNI-AL is currently divided into two geographical commands: the Western Fleet (Komando Armada Republik Indonesia Kawasan Barat: KOARMABAR), which is headquartered in Jakarta, and the Eastern fleet (Komando Armada Republik Indonesia Kawasan Timur: KOARMATIM), which is headquartered in Surabaya.
