RI to join maritime defense show

The Indonesian Navy has confirmed its participation in maritime defense show 2015 IMDEX ASIA and has prepared its two warships for the exhibition . Navy spokesperson Commodore Manahan Simorangkir said the Navy would benefit from attending the event . It would create strong relationships with international navies throughout the world . IMDEX Asia, one of the largest international maritime defense shows in the Asia Pacific, will take place in Singapore on May 19-21. As many as 15 countries, including Germany, New Zealand, Philippines, UK, Vietnam, Peru, have confirmed their participation in the show // Voi.JP

 Bandung Mayor Prepares Souvenirs for KAA Participants 

Bandung Mayor Ridwan Kamil has prepared souvenirs for 109 heads of states that will visit Bandung to attend the 60th Asia Africa Conference (KAA) on April 24 . Ridwan said that gemstones are unique jewelries from Indonesia. Ridwan also plans to provide Bandung's special delicacies, tour, traditional clothes and headbands for all heads of states . Brochures will also be given along with the gemstones to attract investments . Ridwan has decided to take advantage of the KAA commemoration in an attempt to promote investment opportunities in several development projects in Bandung, including the monorail, sky walk and waste management projects .
