Exercise Elang AUSINDO 2023 (EA23) is a bilateral air combat exercise between the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) F-35A Lightning IIs from No. 75 Squadron, and Indonesian Air Force (TNI-AU or Tentara Nasional Indonesia Angkatan Udara) F-16 Fighting Falcons.
EA23 is being conducted in Manado, Indonesia from 18 to 28 September 2023, and aims to enhance interoperability and strengthen the partnership between TNI-AU and the RAAF.
EA23 is a regular combined training activity and demonstrates the commitment between Australia and Indonesia in developing co-operative air combat procedures, with 2023 marking 30 years since the exercise first began.
